Is it possible to "tie" a bass pattern to individual chords

…or does the bass pattern have to written for the whole song bar by bar?

Hi,

Styles are bound to chords but you can create a bass for a specific root of a chord. E.g. you have progression CMaj, GMaj, AMin. You can create Style which plays only one note (1st index) of a chord and it would play C, G, A notes.
